Step-by-step instructions for collecting your digital evidence with security and legal validity.
The app detects content automatically — just one click to start shielding your evidence in real time.
Go to web.whatsapp.com and log in with your QR Code.
Open the conversation you want to record as evidence.
Click the Lexato app icon in the browser toolbar.
Select the 'Capture Conversation' option from the app menu.
Scroll up in the conversation to load the desired history (the app will automatically capture all loaded content).
Click 'Finalize and Register on Blockchain'.
Wait for processing and download of your certified technical report.
Navigate to the post or profile containing the evidence.
Make sure all relevant content (text, images, comments) is visible on screen.
Open the Lexato app.
Choose the 'Full Page Capture' mode.
Wait while the system captures the source code, images and network metadata.
Review the generated preview and confirm the registration.
Important: Do not close the tab until you receive the success confirmation.
Open the generated Technical Report PDF file.
Locate the Hash (alphanumeric code) and verification link on the first page.
Click the link to be redirected to the block explorer (Polygonscan or Arbiscan).
Verify that the Hash listed in the blockchain transaction matches exactly the Hash on your document.
You can also use independent PDF signature verifiers (such as Adobe Acrobat) to confirm the document has not been altered after issuance.
In the Lexato dashboard, go to 'My Records'.
Download the complete package (PDF + Original Files).
The PDF file is the main document to be attached to the initial petition.
If the court accepts media attachments, also send the original files (HTML/JSON) for technical examination if needed.
Always cite the registration Hash in the body of your petition to facilitate verification by the judge.
Check your internet connection.
Reload the page you want to capture (F5).
Make sure you are logged into the Lexato app.
If the error persists, clear the browser cache and try again.
For very heavy sites or those with anti-bot blocks, try using 'Visible Capture' mode instead of 'Full Page'.
Contact our technical support if the problem continues.
